To meet growing demand, Air India Express has introduced extra direct flights from Chennai to Kuwait, effective from this Sunday. The new service, operating five days a week (excluding Tuesdays and Saturdays), aims to enhance convenience for travelers, departing Chennai at 6:50 pm and arriving in Kuwait at midnight. The return leg departs Kuwait early morning, reaching Chennai at 6:35 am on scheduled days. The airport anticipates improved ease for regular passengers on this route, catering to both business and leisure needs.
However, on a different note, Vistara Airlines faced administrative challenges leading to the cancellation of four passenger flights on Sunday. The affected routes included flights between Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai, impacting arrivals and departures at specific times. Vistara Airlines cited administrative reasons for the cancellations and has informed affected passengers accordingly."
