The fruits that must not be eaten before bed are
Avoid citrus fruits intake:
Various examples are oranges, grapefruit, lemon etc. Point is that these fruits are acidic in nature. Persons eating these fruits before bedtime might get digestive issues like acid reflux, heart burns etc. These issues at night would disrupt sound sleep.
Avoid pineapple intake:
Never eat pineapples in excess amounts just before going to bed. The reason for that is bromelain present in the pineapples might cause gastrointestinal discomfort like gas, bloating etc and it might disrupt sleep.
Avoid watermelon intake:
Not many of us would know that the water content present in the watermelons would act as diuretic. This might lead to more urine formation and sleep disruption etc. Hence, eating this fruit before bed must be avoided. There are also chances of digestive issues like bloating etc due to watermelon intake before bed.
Avoid mangoes intake:
We all like eating mangoes as they are highly delicious. Not many of us would know that mangoes that are highly sweet could cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels and then sudden crash etc. This would disrupt sleep.
Avoid bananas intake:
Though intake of bananas is good at night normally but when eaten in excess they could lead to spike in the blood sugar levels due to the presence of carbohydrates and natural sugars. There would be a huge increase in energy when we eat bananas before going to sleep and this would not allow us to sleep.
