Protest by Pachaiyappa college students

Further to the suicide attempt made by a Pachaiyappa college student, about 200 students got involved in a protest on Friday. The student is now stable and is hospitalized. When enquired, the police officials came to know that the student was aged 18 and belonged to second year. The student was suspended from the college by its principal P. Gajivaradhanon. This made the student to commit suicide by consuming rat poison within the class.
Noticing this, other friends and classmates took the student to government Kilpauk hospital for treatment.
