Purattasi Saturday brings many devotees to Thirupathi

It is the auspicious month of Purattasi now. This is considered special for Lord Venkateshwara, Thirupathi. Especially, the Saturdays of this month are celebrated with special poojas at Thirupathi. On account of this, there were huge crowds of devotees at Thirupathi. Due to strike at Cimantira, people from Tamil Nadu took private buses to reach Thirupathi. The bus stands were crowded with devotees.
As there were more than 15000 devotees, there was a huge queue for Dhiva Dharisanam. All of them were waiting for more than nine hours for the Dharshan.
