Ather Energy Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Launch of Special Edition Ather 450 Apex!
Ather Energy, India`s premier electric two-wheeler manufacturer, celebrated its 10th anniversary in January 2024 with the launch of the Ather 450 Apex. Originally priced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the price has since increased by Rs 6,000, bringing the current cost to Rs 1.95 lakh.
The Ather 450 Apex, a special edition, is available only until October 2024. This model marks the culmination of the 450 series, succeeding the 450S and 450X. While it retains the classic design of the 450 scooter, the Apex stands out with its distinctive Indium Blue and Orange color scheme.
The 450 Apex is equipped with a powerful 7.0 kW electric motor, producing 9.4 hp and 26 Nm of torque. It boasts a top speed of 100 km/h, 10 km/h faster than the 450X, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. A notable feature is the `Magic Twist` energy management algorithm, which allows for complete parking without using brakes, regardless of battery size.
The scooter is powered by a 3.7 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 157 km per charge. Its advanced regenerative braking system further enhances its performance, contributing to the positive reception it has received in the Indian market.
