Heavy Rainfall Expected Across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry: Meteorological Center Issues Alert!

Chennai Meteorological Center Director P. Senthamarai Kannan announced that light to moderate rain is expected across Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Nellai, and Kumari districts today due to changes in westerly wind speeds. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may also occur in other districts, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in the hilly areas of Nilgiris and Coimbatore, with heavy rain expected in the hilly regions of Tirupur, Theni, Tenkasi, Nellai, Dindigul, and a few places in Kumari.
