Special Camps on August 9th for Bank Accounts under Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme in Colleges!

An important day, for the government school students who are interested in studying in the colleges in TN, would be this 9th August. Do you know why?

For the government school students who are interested to pursue higher studies in the colleges, TN govt would be launching an amazing scheme known a s Tamil Pudhalvan scheme.

The news now is that the state govt would be organising camps in the colleges to help these govt school students with the procedure that would include opening savings bank accounts etc.

On 9th of August in Coimbatore, the CM of TN Mr. M.K. Stalin would be launching the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme to help many school students who would be pursuing their higher studies in the colleges. It is now said that the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme was conceived after the superb success of the Pudhumai Penn scheme.

It is known that under the Pudhumai Penn scheme an amount of Rs 1000 is being provided to female students who have studied in the govt schools from class 6 to class 12 until they complete diploma, UG or any other recognised course etc.

Huge need to have bank accounts:
It must be noted that govt school students would not have bank accounts on their names. There is a huge need for them to have bank accounts as the amount of Rs 1000 would be credited directly into their bank accounts. According to a senior official belonging to higher education dept, it was clear that the authorities have ensured that the beneficiaries have savings bank accounts. He spoke about how the higher education dept has planned to organise camp along with the bank officials to open accounts for the students. He concluded that the officials at the camps would assist the students in applying to avail the benefits under Tamil Pudhalvan scheme.
