Chennai Metro Blue Line Services Restored

On Thursday morning, a technical failure disrupted the frequency of trains between Chennai Airport and Wimco Nagar Depot on the Blue Line of the Chennai Metro Rail, extending intervals to 18 minutes. The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) promptly addressed the issue, restoring normal service soon after. CMRL has apologized for the inconvenience caused.
In a post on social media platform X, CMRL clarified that the technical glitch did not affect services between Wimco Nagar Depot and Tollgate or between Airport and Washermanpet Station. Regular operations have now resumed across the entire Blue Line
