On Thursday morning, a technical failure disrupted the frequency of trains between Chennai Airport and Wimco Nagar Depot on the Blue Line of the Chennai Metro Rail, extending intervals to 18 minutes. The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) promptly addressed the issue, restoring normal service soon after. CMRL has apologized for the inconvenience caused.
