Teaching is a noble profession and it requires lots of hard work, dedication etc. There are many who want to work as a teacher in the government schools in TN. The news that has come out now is that the much awaited admission process started on Monday with more than 10000 enrolled for the B. Ed admissions in TN.
It was mentioned by a senior official belonging to the Higher Education dept that the admission to B. Ed courses is an online process and it includes registration, choice filling, application fees payment and printing application etc. The 26th of September would be the last day for enrollment.
Admission Facilitation Centres or AFC would be available at the govt and aided colleges in each district and those teaching aspirants belonging to rural places and far-flung areas without internet facilities could visit these AFC`s for registration process.
Application fees etc:
For the aspirants belonging to the general category or GC the application fees would be Rs 500 and for the aspirants belonging to SC/ST/SCA etc the application fee would be Rs 250. It must be noted that the payment could also be made physically through demand drafts or DD.
In the first step, the candidate must register for the required courses and colleges and the rank list would be published accordingly based on the merit. It is learnt that the tentative allotment of seats would be made available to the students. As per the respective colleges specified in the allotment letter, the applicants must report.
