Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar (SSN) College of Engineering celebratesits 25th Graduation Day
SSN College of Engineering celebrated its 25th Graduation Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The event witnessed the participation of graduates on campus, who conferred their degrees in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty, and proud family members.The event was graced by Shri. S. Krishnan, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeiTY); Shri. V. Shankar, Founder, Computer Age Management Services Pvt. Ltd. (CAMS); and Shri. Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder & CEO, Matrimony.com.The other dignitaries included Mr. R. Srinivasan, Chairman, SSN Institutions; Mr. Sundar Mahalingam, President - Strategy, Shiv Nadar Foundation; Dr. Kala Vijayakumar, President, SSN Institutions; Dr. Radha S., Principal, SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE) and the Heads of the Departments of SSNCE.
The graduation ceremony was conducted in three sessions, during which the chief guests delivered inspiring and thought-provoking speeches, drawing from their experiences and offering valuable insights on the evolving landscape of engineering and technology to the graduands.
In his remarks while congratulating the students,Shri. S. Krishnan said,“India stands on the brink of unprecedented technological transformation and your generation holds the key to unlocking its full potential. Strive to be in the top one or two percent of whatever field you choose. Whether you pursue research, industry, entrepreneurship, or the arts — let excellence be your compass.The investment made in you by this institution, your families, and society carries a responsibility to give back meaningfully.Your journey from here should reflect integrity, ambition, and a relentless pursuit of impact.”
In her message to the graduating students, Dr. Kala Vijayakumar, President of SSN Institutions, said, “Graduation is not just a culmination of years of hard work — it is the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, growth, and impact. We take immense pride in each of our students for their dedication and perseverance, especially in a world that demands both agility and resilience. In the academic year 2024–2025, a total of 958 students graduated from SSN College of Engineering. Among them, 452 undergraduate students earned their degrees with First Class with Distinction, while 499 students secured First Class. The institution also proudly recognised department rank holders, who demonstrated exceptional academic performance in their respective programs. These top achievers were honored by the management with gold and silver medals in appreciation of their outstanding accomplishments.

Prominent recruiters included Motorq, Google, D.E. Shaw, PayPal, Balkan ID, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, Avalara, Togai.AI, Citi, NatWest, Barclays, Fidelity, Caterpillar Inc., Daimler, Ashok Leyland, Rocketlane, Verizon, KLA Tencor, M2P Fintech, McDermott, Technip, Gen Digital, Genesys, Everstageand Comcast. Mass recruiters were TCS, CTS and LTI Mindtree.
While placements for the 2025 batch are underway, six students have already received international offers in Japan, the UAE, and the USA. The average CTC for the current batch stands at INR 12.3 LPA.
The 25th Graduation Day concluded with a sense of accomplishment and celebration as the graduates took their first step towards a promising future, equipped with the knowledge and skills gained at SSN College of Engineering.
