Secunderabad–Ramanathapuram Train Extended to Rameswaram from April 23

Chennai: The South Central Railway has announced the extension of the Secunderabad–Ramanathapuram–Secunderabad train service up to Rameswaram, effective April 23, 2025.
The Secunderabad–Rameswaram Special (Train No. 07695) will depart Secunderabad every Wednesday at 9:10 PM and arrive at Rameswaram by 12:15 AM on the third day.
The return service, Rameswaram–Secunderabad Special (Train No. 07696), will depart Rameswaram on Fridays at 9:10 AM and reach Secunderabad by 12:50 PM the following day.
Major stoppages on the route include:
- Aranthangi
- Karaikudi
- Sivagangai
- Manamadurai
- Ramanathapuram
- Rameswaram
This extension will enhance connectivity to the pilgrim island, benefiting passengers traveling between Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
