Another monsoon revival in a few days

Northeast monsoon is expected to visit the city once again within 2 or 3 days. The city was heated up with 34 degree Celsius weather for the past few days. Chennai has not recorded any rainfall after the recent showers experienced on October 21 and 22.
According to the meteorological department Chennai is likely to have gradual increase of rainfall by the end of this week and is going to get some rainfall. Due to the recent weak low pressure and the cyclone Phailin there will not be any heavy rainfall. Chennai city has recorded low rainfall when compared with last year rainfall in October.
