Kerala Tourism Development Corporation’s first hotel in Chennai

90 room mid-budget hotel is designed on a unique business model was opened in Chennai by Kerala Tourism Development Corporation. This is its first hotel outside Kerala. The property is built on Kerala government-owned land, but 90 per cent of the rooms are earmarked for commercial purposes and the rest  are reserved as government guest houses. 

The property is aimed at several sections of tourists including those from Malaysia and North India who visit the city before heading to Kerala, and those who are headed for destinations like Port Blair before going to Kerala.The highlight of the hotel is its centrality in terms of healthcare facilities like Apollo, transportation hubs like the Central and Egmore stations and cultural centres like the Lalit Kala Akademi and Music Academy. The rooms are priced at Rs 2500 and Rs 5000 for suites.
