Before few minutes, the honourable chief minister of Tamil Nadu – J Jayalalitha flagged off the 800-meter test run at 2 pm, Koyambedu, Chennai. The four-coupe train has been furnished in Brazil with exotic technologies and spellbinding looks. To run across the distance of 45kms across Chennai, the underground operation will happen for 24kms and 21kms over the bridge.

The four-coupe metro rail will have an operation for every 3 ½ minutes and for every hour, an average population of 24, 968 commuters can easily travel.
