Revisions in import tariff value of metals

The import tariff value of gold and silver is reduced by the government on Friday. It is now USD 405/grams for gold and 642 USD/kg for silver. The customs duty is fixed based on this import tariff value. Other than gold and silver, the tariff value of other metals like brass is also reduced. Below are the details of revised import tariff values of other metals:
- Brass scarp – USD 3906
- Poppy seeds – USD 2781
