Water Supply Scheme at Kudamkulam at a cost of Rs .68.97 Crores - Jayalalithaa order

With the river Tamiraparani as source, a joint water supply project is announced for the benefit of the Kudankulam nuclear power station and the neighboring Radhapuram and Valliyur Panchayat and 12 other villages covering 100 residential dwellings.
The project has been approved. The cost of the projects is Rs. 68.10 Crores and the annual maintenance expenses will be Rs 87 lakh s.
Once the project is completed, it is expected that there will be drinking water provision at 55 liters of water per person per day.
