Model Park in Saidapet
In Saidapet, the corporation has added the 33 acre grounds via the Development Right Alteration committee. Also it planned to construct a model park in the expenditure of 3 Crores and a play area.
The
Saidapet Corporation Girls and Boys Higher Secondary School is situated on
Kodambakam Road, near Mandope area. There is no proper playground for the
students in this school. Hence the Corporation has decided to own the 33 acre
of private area, to build up the play area which is surrounding the back wall
of the school.
Because
of the Development Right Alteration, the 33 Acre land was handed over to the
Corporation without any cost. Hence the 11.5 acre of land are going to be the
playground for Boys and 11.5 acres of land is going to be the playground for
the girls.
The rest
of the 10 acre land will be of Model Park for the public. The Blueprint for the
plan of both the playgrounds and the model park is getting ready. Once after
the approval from the head office, the work will be initiated, stated by the
Corporation officials.
