For this year, the government schools has planned to achieve 90 percent pass percentage in 10 and 12 examinations, declared by the Educational department secretary Sabetha. In Sethapatu MCC School, the 27th Science exhibition was initiated by the Education department. The function was inaugurated by the education minister, Veramani. Bangalore Vishveshvaraya Technology Exhibition Director Kumar also participated in the inauguration function.

Secretary Sabetha is below:
To upgrade the educational value, about
49,369 teachers were appointed in the year 2011-2012. About 10,000 teacher
vacancies have been filled up. On its continuation, about 13,756 teachers have
been place in 2012-2013. In total about 51,757 teachers and 7275 teacher
vacancies have been employed till now. Also, for ‘TamilNadu Forecasting-2023’,
various construction facilities have been commenced. For this case, Government
has allotted a fund of Rs.2098.66 Crores.
The pass percentage in 10 classes has been
visibly increasing from year by year: 2010-11- 85.30%; 2012-13-86.20%; and 2013-14-89.00%.
In the same way for 12 classes: 2010-11- 85.90%; 2012-13- 86.70%; 2013-14-
88.10%. Hence several research studies are getting conducted in various
districts to increase the pass percentage. On its continuation, in TamilNadu
Government has ordered for having many sports and Science exhibition events
soon.
