CM Jayalalithaa sanctions Rs 6.12 Crores for renovation of temples and palaces

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has mentioned that Veerattaneswarar temple at Tirukovilur in Villupuram district. The funds sanctioned will be used for laying the approach roads to the Veerattaneswarar temple and provide proper drainage facilities. It would also be used to refurbish the temple tank 
 
Sri Mukthialeeswarar temple in Perumukkal village, near Tindivanam, will be renovated at a cost of 1 crore.The government has sanctioned 3.85 crore to renovate the Eraniel palace in Kanyakumari district. The ancient palace, situated in a 2.43-acre area in Eraniel village, is similar to the Padmanabhapuram palace at Thuckalay in the same district.
 
The funds would be utilized to renovate tanks and some damaged buildings on the palace premises.
