AIADMK expelled Rajya Sabha poll candidate

AIADMK general secretary and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa Saturday expelled N. Chinnadurai, one of its four candidates for the Feb 7 Rajya Sabha polls, for anti-party activities.
In a statement, Jayalalithaa said Chinnadurai had been expelled for his actions that went against the party`s policies and vision.
Consequently, AK Selvaraj was nominated the AIADMK candidate in Chinnadurai`s place.
The other three poll candidates are S. Muthukaruppan, L. Sasikala Pushpa and Vijila Sathyanand.
