Hindustan University has arrived with a ground-breaking course structure that offers dexterous specializations in B Tech courses. This has been done for better placements in colleges and to attract more students to pursue engineering.
Usually, students have to take up a post graduation course to specialise in a specific stream of engineering, but with the new structure at Hindustan University, the courses provide an opportunity to specialize in the interested area at the undergraduate level itself.
There are totally 35 engineering courses, in which 21 courses are specializations in different streams like Autotronics and Motor sports Engineering in Automobile Engineering, and Information Security in Computer Science Engineering. This will increase the placements because industries are now looking for specialised workers. This initiative will surely generate more jobs.
Students will also be mobility to continue with their regular course later if they not comfortable with the specialisation.
Nearly 2,000 seats, which have been allotted so far for this course, will be filled through the online entrance examination HITSEEE 2014 that is scheduled on April 26 and 27, 2014. The application will be issued from February 5.
