OPD
covers 60 percent, the major portion of the health care expenditure in India.
This OPD expenses ruins uninsured, which results in out-of- pocket costs. Hence
the ICICI Lombard has come with the new scheme ‘i-Health Cashless OPD’, to
facilitate the authentic time and stress- free outpatient benefits to the
public.
Customers
who acquires this OPD plan, will be endow an ‘i-Health Card` along with QR code
technology that can be swiped at the OPD hospital centre to gain cashless OPD
benefits on a concurrent basis.
This
health card tenders instant access to OPD profits and can be availed at more
than 75 OPD clinics across the seven metros. Customers can even gain
consultation without any charges several times in a year based on the plan chosen.
ICICI
Lombard is OPD scheme premium starts at Rs.120 per annum and this product have
been launched for both Home Visit and e-consultation.
The
insurer has also tied-up with several healthcare service providers to present
its clients distinctive deals from Titan eye plus, Vasan eye care, Medplus
Pharmacy and so on.
