Fresh Rs. 50/- notes to be circulated

Reserve Bank of India has announced the release of fresh Rs. 50/- notes.
The new notes will bear the signature of RBI
Governor, Mr. Raghuram Rajan,. The reverse side will carry the year of printing
and the symbol, ‘I’. The new notes will not have any shaded inscriptions.
All Rs. 50 notes released earlier will also be
valid.
