Private Companies Names should Snub ‘National’ Word – Central Government Decree
The names of the private companies should not include the word ‘National’, ordered by the central government.
Regarding this statement, the Central Companies Affair Ministry has
passed a circular few days ago for all zonal Directors, all companies
Registrars and Share Business Organization.
This circular constitutes that: Ministry has received the tidings that
many private companies, specific type of joint sectors were using the word
‘National’ in their company names while registering.
Hence, the registrars should strictly proscribe the registration of
private companies and specific type of joint sectors who have come with the
name of the word ‘National’ in it.
Also if the private companies’ name comes with the word ‘Bank’, ‘Stock Exchange’, ‘Exchange’; then they should NOC certificate from the Reserve Bank and SEBI, informed in the circular.
