Yet another Shankar’s assistant emerges as director

Next to Raja Rani fame Atlee, the ex-assistant of director Shankar, it’s now the second entry of other Shankar’s assistant, Sri. He is directing a film, Damaal Dumeel starring Remya Nambeesan and Vaibhav Reddy. The audio launch took place recently during which it was announced that the film belongs to comedy cum crime thriller genre. Soundtracks are played by Thaman. Usha uthup graced the event with her dancer performance with the film’s female lead, Remya. There were other guests including Premji Amaren and Venkat Prabhu. The film is planned to hit the screens by March.
