Notice has been sent to the Reserve Bank seeking its reply for the case filled regarding the withdrawal of the announcement on change of rupee note.
High Court judge Srinivasan Narayanan has filled the below Case:
Reserve bank has been announced that, people should change their rupee notes which are published on or before 2005 in any banks. Particularly, 500 and 1000 rupee notes should get altered before the month of July.
At the time of shifting the rupee notes, public should bring in their identity proofs, stated by the Reserve Bank.
This order for change of the rupee note is an anti social act. Public will get more affected and their customary day-to-day activities got disturbed a lot. Hence this order should get cancel and it has to be put under check, argued by the judge Srinivasan Narayanan.
This case has been investigated by judges namely Balvasanthkumar and Devadas. Also they both have placed its petition against the Central Government.Also he sent notice to the Reserve bank, stating that within one week of time the Reserve Bank of has to reply back for the petition sent by him, he added.
