Labor Department Officers – Conducted Raid in Shops

Labor Department Orientation Officers has conducted the raid in several shops in various divisions of the city. In this raid they have confiscated nearly 81 non-stamped weights.
Labor Department Orientation officers have been intimated to pursue raids in several parts of the Chennai.
During the raid in Koyambedu suburban bus stand, nearly 16 shop owners who have been involved in selling more things at retails rate, selling packet foods without any intimation and so on were snatched and necessary actions have been taken on them.
In Chintadripet fish and vegetable market, about 81 non-stamped weight stones have been sneezed.
Officers have strictly ordered that, the shop owners who are involved in iniquitous activities including: increasing the rate of the commodities on fixed rate, selling packed foods without any details on it, using non-stamped weights and so on will be suffered under severe action.
