7,366 to take CBSE exam on Saturday

7,366 Class 12 students in the city will take another step towards higher education as they take the Central Board of Secondary Education examination on Saturday.
Exams for Class 10 students with Tamil as their second language will also begin on Saturday. While 11,293 students will appear for the board exam, 3,628 students will take the schoolbased exams in Chennai.A total of 10,775 students from the state will appear for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination and 28,561 will take the Class 10 exams in both categories, according to the CBSE regional office in Chennai,Observers will be sent to new centres that are holding the exam and principals from other schools will be present at self-centre schools.
