Mercury rises, summer around the corner

While the weather chart has been pointing 31 degrees Celsius as the maximum temperature on most days, those who are out on the streets know that it is too low to describe the heat outdoors.
Air-conditioners are kept on. Heat is felt even by 5 PM. Dread about what May will be like?
On Tuesday, the regional meteorological centre recorded a maximum temperature of 32.1 degrees Celsius with the minimum around 25 degrees Celsius.
While the afternoons have been harsh to commuters, evenings, with the relative humidity around 80%, have not been kind either.
