Maha Guru Agasthiar himself does Girivalam today (20 Nov 2010) along with many other great Siddhas and rishis.

20 Nov 2010 Pournami Full Moon Night Arunachala Girivalam. The Pournami Full moon night of the Karthigai month (November) of the Vikruthi Year of 2010  is known as KANDHA PAVITRA MAHA MUNI POURNAMI according to our Agasthiar Siddha Lineage.

In temple kumbhabishekam re-consecration ceremonies, there is a special ceremony known as KANDHAPAVITRAM.    Sri Kandha Pavitra Maha Muni is a great expert in this ceremony.

The Pournami Full Moon thithi starts at 10:39 pm (Indian Standard Time) on 20 Nov 2010 and   lasts until 10:58 p.m. IST on 21 Nov 2010.
