Lars Peder Brekk , Minister for Food and Agriculture , Norway was delivering inaugural address at Global conference
on Bio-diversity in MS Swaminathan Research Foundation {MSSRF} in
Chennai. The conference was NORWAY TIE UP WITH
AGRI ISNTITUTES
held on Bio-diversity in relation Food and
human security in the context of global warming. The Minister said that Norway was exploring
possibilities of collaborating with Indian Agricultural universities for
exchange programmes to promote agri centric research. Dr M S Swaminathan,
Chairman MSSRF also spoke, on the impact on Bio resources by human ecological
footprint.
