Fitness certificate to be soon issued for Chennai Metro Rail trains

Metro Rail trains in Chennai will soon receive their fitness certificate from RDSO - Research Design and Standards Organisation, say CMRL officials. Officials from RDSO will arrive Chennai and inspect the metro rails and conduct various tests. They are expected to stay in Chennai for two or three weeks for carrying out the inspection works and trial runs for checking vibrations from trains and comfort for passengers. Additionally, a speed certification will also be given after checking the running conditions of the trains.
