Onion prices to touch over Rs. 100/- per kilogram in October?

Currently, the price of onion is around Rs. 20/- to Rs. 30/- per kg. This is expected to increase gradually and by October, the price of onion is expected to touch Rs. 100/- per kg!
The main reason is said to be the heavy rains in Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh which damaged the plants & vegetables. The growth of onion was severely affected.
Similarly, the price of potato is also expected to rise.
The price of seeds is also supposed to rise to the level of 400% as compared to the last year.
