Deputy Chief Minister M K Stalin told the Assembly on Wednesday that the state Government would recommend to the centre to provide adequate compensation and employment to families which had given land to the Salem Steel Plant (SSP. M K Stalin said that he shared the feelings of the members of the Assembly about the plight of the people. He was replying to a special call attention motion M K Stalin said that the Collector would hold meeting with the Management of the plant and discuss the demands of the families who could not employment. The Main agenda of the meeting would be to create a special employment exchange for the families who had given land for the steel plant and that they should be given priority in employment.
