CHARTER OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN SCHOOL CURRICULUM
There was
a worldwide live video conference on ‘the rights of children’ organized
recently by the United Nations for the teachers and academicians. It was mooted
that Human Rights be included in School curriculum as it is too important not
to be taught in school level itself.

know their rights first and then about the exploitation meted out to the less
fortunate. It’s not what is happening in schools ;some they are bloated out of
proportion but what is happening outside to which most of us are moot
spectators. Its very important that they are taught on ‘respect for others’
which when they grow up will not only preach but practice themselves.
