It is gathered that the investment in India by Non-resident Indians working abroad is likely to increase by 35% this year as compared to the previous year.

A survey carried out by ASSOCHAM has indicated this trend.

Taking due note of the eager interest shown by the NRIs to invest in real estate in India, various real estate organisations have been conducting exhibitions and shows in different countries. Some of them have even opened branch offices!

It is learnt that the the most preferred place of real estate investment is Bangalore. Pune and Chennai are the next most preferred cities for NRIs’ real estate investment.

The survey informs that enquiries are generated by NRIs from different countries such as Gulf countries, USA, Singapore, and Australia.
