Winter session of parliament to revise rules for land acquisition

Arun Jaitley, Minister of Finance said the necessary changes in the process of land acquisition will be introduced during the winter session of parliament. The earlier government imposed stringent rules and formalities for acquiring land to construct factories or industries. According industrialists, these new rules stand as hurdles in obtaining land. Industrialists placed a plea to the government wanting it to change these rules.
Considering this request, government has decided to bring in the necessary change in rules for land acquisition during the winter session of parliament. Furthermore, necessary reformation works will also be finalized so as to enhance the industry, said Arun Jaitley.
