Post offices to turn a place of multiple services soon

Central government is eyeing on postal department and wants to make it a place to provide multiple services to the public.
An advisory meeting will soon be held with all ministers and discussions will be made to sort out the list of all new services that could be included in post offices that are wide-spread all over the nation. The government is targeting postmen and devising plans to deliver services, collect payments or other information to/from the public through these postmen.
Information and communication departments states that post offices can be used to deliver products that are purchased through online shopping.
An exclusive team appointed for this new feature in post office will soon submit a recommendation by the end of this year.
This is sure to bring forth better development and ease in availing multiple service.
