Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas said that there are no plans of removing subsidy for LPG cylinders as of now. He also said that it is to be debated on who should be given the subsidy and who shouldn’t be.
It is to be noted that recently on Friday, Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister stated about removal of subsidy for cooking gas for those consumers who are well-off. Removal of subsidy is believed to be of help in cutting off more on the government’s expenses.
