Aadhar card registration through Provident Fund Offices!

Permanent account numbers for Provident Fund are being registered for simplifying the transfer of Provident Fund details while an employee changes his/her job.

This will facilitate the employee to check on their PF details and browse and utilise other services on-line.

4.2 Crore permanent Provident Fund Account numbers have been registered so far from 16th October.

Only 10% of 42 Lakh individuals have given their Aadhar card details.

Aadhar card is the main resource to access the services rendered by Provident Fund Organisation.

UIDAI has asked for assistance from PF Organisation to reach the target of providing Aadhar cards for all citizens before March, 2015.

With this assistance, 8.5 Crore Provident Fund Employee members will be registered.

So far, 70.43 Crores Aadhar cards have been given till 15th November.

90% of the residents in 9 states have received Aadhar cards.
