Chennai MWSSB has informed that maintenance works are to be undertaken at the high-pressure sewage pumping station in Purasawalkam.
It has announced that the maintenance work on the pumping station will start at 4.00 PM on 13th February till 4.00 PM on 14th February.
Subsequently, the pumping stations in Kilpauk, Purasawalkam, Thousand Light, Nungambakkam (part), , Longs Garden, Egmore (part), Kesava Pillai Thottam, And Nammalwarpettai (part) will not be operative.
Hence, an arrangement has been made to receive complaints about stagnant sewage water by using Lorries.
