Kemppi Oy opens facility in Chennai

Kemppi Oy, a Finland-based manufacturer and solutions provider of arc welding equipment, today announced the launch of its manufacturing facility near Chennai.
The company has earmarked around Rs 46 crore to develop manufacturing and marketing operations in the country in next two years.
Arvind Vasu, Managing Director of Kemppi India Pvt. Ltd. said that the unit would start with an initial manufacturing capacity of 3000 welding machines. The facility is expected to be operational by April this year.
