The activity which has commenced its second phase in Chandigarh has completed six schools with a target to complete eleven. Millennium school, Tender heart school, M Ram public school and Saint Soldier school are a few to name.

Having successfully completed its execution in Bangalore, the Ecos’kool activity has begun in Chennai in Christ King Higher Secondary School and will be executed in Dasars High School, Muthialpet High School and ASAN Memorial School by February 17th, 2011.  With a target to complete 100 schools by the end of February 2011 ecos’kool aims at encouraging and engaging young minds to contribute towards a greener tomorrow.

The Ecos’kool activity involves educating school children by engaging them in an hour long fun filled session, creating awareness on alarming environmental issues and highlighting how their modest contribution can bring about a change. Panasonic has chosen an age bracket of 9 years- 12 years to inculcate the conservation thought process, as values instilled at this tender age, have a lasting impact. Sensitisation towards the environment is a goal that the brand drives through all its activities.
