Admissions Open at Bharath University

Bharath Institute of Science and Technology affiliated to Bharath University has started admissions for the academic year 2011- 12. Applications are invited for all the UG and PG degree programme. As many as 17 courses under the B. Tech., UG programme and 38 courses under the M.Tech., PG degree programme are being offered by the University. MBA, MCA, M. S., and PhD degree courses are also being offered.
Interested candidates who meet the Eligibility criteria can apply. Candidates with GATE score are exempted from taking entrance examination for admissions to M.Tech. degree programme. Free education is offered for 100 toppers in Bharath Engineering Entrance Exam, State exams and out standing sports persons. Also, special quotas are available for wards of Ex-Serviceman, first graduate from the family, physically challenged and the students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and North-East.

• Last date to receive the filled in applications is on May 1, 2011
• Entrance exams will be conducted for the eligible candidates on May 15, 2011
• DD in favor of Bharath University payable at Chennai for Rs. 750
Entrance Examination will be conducted in various cities like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Pondicherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and West Bengal.
