Panasonic Launches New Series of Laser Multi-function Printer

Panasonic Corporation, the global leader in innovation and technology, has launched its new series of Laser Multifunction Printers MB 1900, 2010 and 2030 series. The laser printers are part of Panasonic’s Office Products and combine state of the art technology with user friendly interfaces. These printers are the latest addition to the All in One (AIO) segment and are the latest addition to Panasonic’s range of document solutions. The printers offer a maximum speed of 24 PPM with Print/Scan/Copy/Fax & network compatibility at a very competitive price across India.
 
Panasonic has launched the new KX-MB1900 model, to target the IT channels. In 2010, Panasonic had 8% market share in the All in One segment, and with new model, the company is targeting 14% market share in 2011. The newly launched KX-MB 1900CX is a superior cost-competitive alternative to generic inkjet printers. This multifunction AIO is tailored to deliver quality and productivity standards, with a high-speed 24ppm laser print and copy rate, boasting a print resolution of up to 600 x 600 dpi. The unit also features an A4 Compact Flatbed which allows scanning and copying of books, magazines, newspapers or even smaller objects such as receipts and driver`s licenses.
 
The MB2000-series models are equipped with 250-sheet paper input trays and 20-sheet automatic document feeders (ADF) and incorporate numerous advanced features previously available only on much larger and more costly office machines. Included among these enhancements is 9600 x 9600 dpi maximum resolution TIFF, JPEG or PDF-compatible color scanning to a local computer, networked PC, Network Shared Folder or email address and Quick ID copying of both sides of a single card for printing on a single sheet of paper in 2-in-1, 4-in-1, or 8-in-1 configuration. A 33.6 kbps Super G3 fax exclusive to the top-of-the-line KX-MB2030 is coupled to Incoming Fax Preview technology; enabling operators to minimize wasteful printouts by viewing stored incoming faxes on a PC and deciding whether to archive them print them or delete them. 
 
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Wataru Matsumoto Managing Director, System Sales Division (SSD), Panasonic India said   “The Company expects to increase its market share considerably in the All in One (AIO) segment with the introduction of these models. Across the region there is significant demand for cost cutting all-in-one colour and laser printers, which has intensified in the last few quarters. Printing can be costly and Panasonic printers are designed to help businesses cut costs”
