Prices of fruits and flowers soar high ahead of festive season

On occasion of Aayutha Pooja day, the prices of fruits and flowers have gone very high at the Koyambedu Wholesale Market.
The prices of roses, jasmine and kanakambaram flowers have been increased two fold. Tomorrow Aayutha Pooja festival will be celebrated. Because of this, the rates of fruits and flowers have gone high.
Especially the rates of apples, sweet limes and oranges have also sky rocketed. The rates of other fruits have also been increased by Rs 10.
