Chennai Meteorological Centre: rain for next 2 days in Tamil Nadu

Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the newly formed depression, there will be rain for the next 2 days in Tamil Nadu & Pudhucherry.
Weather Observatory Centre director Ms. Stella informed that a depression zone has formed over Southeast Bay of Bengal near Sri Lanka leading to prospects of heavy rains in coastal areas.
