Description : Rotary Club of Madras Coromandel presents a music concert called Rock For Vision featuring two of the most renowned rock bands from Chennai, Masala Coffee and Thaikkudam Bridge. The charity fundraiser will raise money from the tickets to go to the Karna Vidya Foundation in support of the visually challenged.
Masala Coffee, the band comprises talented artists like Sooraj Santhosh, Gokul Eknath, Varun Sunil, Joe Jacob, Preeth PS, Pauly and Sunil Geroge. Masala Coffee made its debut on Kappa TV`s Music Mojo. They have an eclectic sound which comes from their desire to combine unexpected elements leading to a heady musical experience just like the spicy beverage.
Launched in 2013, Thaikkudam Bridge from Kerala is a rock, reggae and Carnatic band with varied influences. With a Facebook community following of over 5.5 lakhs and YouTube videos crossing 44 lakh views, it is today arguably the most followed band in the history of independent music in South India. Basking in the success of their brand new album, Navarasam, Thaikkudam Bridge is back to Chennai. The line up includes Govind Menon - Vocalist, Violinist, Mithun Raju - Lead Guitars, Ashok Nelson - Rhythm Guitars, Vian Fernandez - Bass Guitars, Vocals, Anish TN - Drums, Ruthin Thej - Keyboards, Vipin Lal - Vocals, Christin Jose - Vocals, Peethambaran - Vocals, Siddharth Menon - Vocals, Piyush Kapoor - Vocals, Guitars, Krishna Bongane - Vocals, Anish Krishnan - Vocals and Nila Madhav Mohapatra - Vocals.
