New software to prevent any fraud in Bond registration

With the current facilities, train tickets from anywhere to anywhere in India can be booked everywhere.

While reservations are being booked,  a feature in a new software has been introduced by Indian Railways wherein the number of tickets reserved will keep coming down.

This method is now being adopted in the bond registration in registration offices with the new software.

This would facilitate and ensure that the same property being registered at 2 different registration offices.

During recent times, the facility to register any property any where in India can be registered anywhere in India.So, this new software feature would certainly prevent the occurrence of the same property being registered in 2 different offices.

This software creation is nearing completion. Once implemented, when a particular property is registered at a particular place, it will be automatically get registered in the data throughout the country preventing the same property to be registered for a second time.

A question may be raised that when the original document is to be shown during registration, how would it be possible to register the same property in 2 different places. It may be noted that there are no original deed/documents for government-owned open & unclaimed lands (Porampokku). A person having 10 acres of land is entitled to sell 2 acres from that. During this registration, he does not give the original sale deed. 

Only the person who bought it last will get the original document. There is a possibility of fraud in this while registering at 2 different places.

Currently, all registration done during the day in all registration offices are uploaded before the same evening. However, with the new system, the registration will be uploaded on the spot when the registration is done.

So, the same property cannot be registered at 2 different places. If it is done, there would be warning issued from the system and the concerned person will get caught. This is being introduced shortly.

Any sales deal for any land, house, flat will require the concerned buyer & seller to take photos at the registration office and give their thumb impressions. Cell phone details are also entered. Efforts are on to introduce sms messages service to prevent this duplication fraud.

TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) has undertaken the responsibility of computerizing all registration records in the country. Further, if anyone attempts to sell someone else`s property, the fingerprints would not match. Immediately sms will be sent to the original owner. A registration office official informed that this will prevent any fraud in registration procedure.
