Description : After two successful record breaking editions of film festivals, the Russian Cultural Centre is back with its 3rd edition of Chennai International Short Film Festival that will feature 200 Short films from 97 countries. There will be movies like Animation, Documentary and Fiction and a competition worth prize money worth Rs 2.4 lakh along with a trophy and sections like world cinema with a special country focus on Indonesia and Mexico. Then there will be a section on contemporary films from Turkey, Indian Panorama etc.
The Indian Panorama section will feature films like A Mother By Aroop Dwivedi; Baanchara- A Hidden Taboo By Ketan Lamba; Watermelon By Pranav Hariihar Sharma; Rapithwain By Arundhati Bhardwaj; and 99 By Desingh Periyasamy.
